WinTech’s stainless steel sanitary tubing is produced in accordance with the requirements of 3A sanitary standards, ASTM A270 for manufacturing process, testing, tolerances and surface finishes. Tubes are bright annealed and rapidly quenched in accordance with the specifications.

Chemical Composition
Our sanitary tubing is available in alloys 304/304L and 316/316L. All 316/316L tube is supplied with a sulfur content of .005-.017% as specified in ASTM A270, Supp. S2.1.1.

Mechanical Tests
Mechanical testing is in accordance with ASTM A450, which includes reverse bend, reverse flattening and flange tests. Eddy current tests are performed on 100% of the tube produced.

Surface Finishes
Tubing is supplied as bright annealed or mechanically polished OD and/or ID surface to a 180 grit (20 micro-inch Ra) .5 micron Ra. Protective Packaging

Each tube is capped on both ends with plastic end caps. All tubes are sleeved for protection prior to boxing. In addition, special packaging requirements can be arranged if requested.
